Best Breakfast / Brunch in Reno

10Best Breakfast and Brunch Spots in Reno
Breakfast and brunch in Reno can range from a quick bite of pastry and coffee at a coffeehouse (like the popular Coffeebar near Midtown) or a luxury Sunday brunch buffet at Silver Legacy’s Sterlings. In between you have a wide range of classic cafes and diners that will fill you up for the entire day. Several restaurants in the Reno area have been featured on the Food Network including Dish Cafe & Catering and Squeeze In. Check out the many omelettes at the Squeeze In and the fresh local food at both Dish and Great Full Gardens. If you just need a quick hit of caffeine, Homage near Downtown has a huge menu of coffee and loose leaf tea as well as some excellent lattes and My Favorite Muffin will put a spin on the typical bagel. If you want to go without dinner, check out Peg’s Glorified Ham & Eggs in Downtown for their colossal breakfast and lunch dishes.

NUMBER ONE SQUEEZE IN
Squeeze In has several locations in the area including Reno and Truckee. This casual breakfast and lunch spot has some massively huge omelettes as well as classic breakfasts, sandwiches, salads and some great coffee and mimosas. Their fun omelettes come with various cheese sauces and salsas and include the Shake & Bake with black olives, avocado, Monterey Jack cheese and salsa and the Lake Taco with ground beef, red onions, peppers and sour cream. Try the crazy Zweifel with peanut butter and bananas. The various eggs benny dishes come with different ingredients like the Bacon Benny with mushroom in a wine sauce.

Recommended for Breakfast/Brunch because: There’s a reason Squeeze In has been featured on Food Network: it’s fantastic. The service is tops and the omelettes are the best.

Christina’s expert tip: Squeeze In has locations in South Reno, North Reno, Sparks and Truckee.
